Battery Retainer for Pan Car

Not a new concept for tapeless battery retention, but our own interpretation of how it could/should be.

These 1s battery retainers for Oval Pan cars use 4-40 x 1/4" screws (not included) to attach to the popular HyperDrive style brass battery locators. This design has clearance for the ever popular SortaFast Button Head design, so any "normal" style 4-40 should also fit without issue, though we haven't tested them all.

Any similar locator with the same bolt pattern should also work (very close to 1.5" or 38mm).

These are meant to be tweak free when used with a locator that is 0.350" (8.9mm) thick on chassis without a cutout for a battery weight plate.  For chassis with a battery weight cutout, there will be extra vertical clearance if you don't run a plate, if you do, the detail picture shows the clearance to ensure no tweak is introduced while the battery is captured in place.
