LO206 Fuel Pump Riser

MLSS (Leach Racing) fuel pump risers first debuted in 2021.

These have been used multiple seasons with zero issues. They're printed in a higher temperature plastic, were designed to fit the round 2 ear style fuel pumps found on the LO206, and measure out at 0.74" tall to ensure they don't run afoul of the 206 rule limit of 3/4".

Unlike other 3d printed options out there, we didn't just copy the POM injection molded original riser and start selling, the "fins" are inline with the forward direction of the kart.

Combined with a "reclock" compared to how these pumps come stock, your pulse line can be made shorter with a guaranteed downhill run back to the crank case. This reduces oil pooling on the diaphragm, reduces oil mist covering your engine from the vent screen, and we believe (but admittedly can't prove) these two things extend the life and reliability of the fuel pump. There is plenty of airflow under the fuel pump with this design, which also helps support the underside.

Does this keep the fuel cooler? No idea, we never measured, but if your driver believes it gives an edge, maybe it does.

If you are adding a riser for the first time, you will need some longer bolts, as well as a drill and retap of the top plate.  We use an existing threaded bolt hole to ensure the tech man has no argument about the pump position being within the rules.
